Willie, while the ice was thin,
Tried to skate and he fell in.
Willie tasted rather nice,
When they cut the pond for ice.
Little Johnny, for a frolic,
Ate a melon parabolic;
When the fruit arrived inside,
Little Johnny up and died.
Was the trouble melon-colic?

Little Willie — what a ham!
Went out to find a traffic jam.
He didn’t need to travel far,
A passing truck gave him a jar!
